STANDARD UPRATED FRAME SET
 
We uprate our frame sets in 5 different ways
 
1. The lower longitudinal frame tube has increased wall thickness from 0.9mm to 1.2mm.

2. The small rectangular frame tubing has increased wall thickness from 0.9mm to 1.1mm

3. The round tubing has its wall thickness increased from 0.9mm to 1.2mm.

4. All the tubing has increased yield and UTS values as compared to the originals without loss to ductility - resulting in far greater strength and fatigue rating.

5. All the brackets and fabrications are manufactured from a high strength, low alloy material which increases the fatigue rating and fracture toughness.

The full frame set includes:
 
2 Side Frames.

1 Bonnet Frame.

1 Picture Frame (complete with lower packing shims and stamped as original.)

1 Fixing / Shim kit (includes: special nylocs, high tensile bolts, washers, camber shims, engine mount shims etc) all zinc plated or stainless steel.

The full assy comes fully etched primed and ready for painting.

All of the above are manufactured as a complete set to ensure a perfect fit upon assembly. All of the frames are now uprated as standard including the picture and bonnet frame. The increased rating has been achieved without affecting the crash strength (crumple zone effect) or looks to the originals, the overall effect is to increase tensional rigidity and reduce the bending effect, which gives a firmer stiffer ride with better handling characteristics. The frames are now able to cope with modern upgrades to brakes, suspension and engine power.
